A new farm table and bench – rustic style

February 25, 2011 § Leave a comment

It’s been a busy week, with moving into a new workspace, assembling a team of people to work with and doing new designs for tables. The storefront on Ave B is coming along nicely, although I wish sometimes things could move a bit faster. I also recently taken up knitting! I want to make a hat so badly. Any tips are welcome on knitting in the round on circular needles.

Other than that, I need to get a sun lamp because this weather is CRAZY!

Check out some pics below for the latest table we did. This one is with a two inch top.

I was picking up a friend of mine the other day and stumbled upon this hidden apartment building with the nicest wooden decorative door.

I like using these old fashioned wood clamps.

An altar for someone’s prayer nook. Before and After.

Me staring off into the distance thinking about table measurements….

Completely unrelated, but I snapped this pic during the fall, I thought her dress was cute.

Driving home from Brooklyn to Manhattan on the williamsburg bridge.

This was driving home the other night during the snowstorm.

And finally, a farm table with detachable legs we delivered yesterday.

I love home things. I grew up traveling from one day to the next, so what I place in highest regard are home things. Especially for the dining room. It’s the place where everyone comes together.
